RADIO_ON

MCA used to come to my hometown (Gloucester, MA) often. We even got a shout out in the song “Dedication.” The last time I saw him was a couple of summers ago at Mystery Train Records with his wife and daughter. He would sometimes show up at Artspace, a tiny 50-person capacity room where I went to shows every weekend in high school, and jammed with bands who were rehearsing. 

I never actually talked to him, but all of my friends and I felt a sort of pride that the Beastie Boys would regularly come to OUR venue and OUR record store when visiting OUR little suburban town.
